let me just share something i've learnt in last fri's service... cuz the pastor preached about choices and he said something which i thought was very meaningful. God gave us choices so that there will be true love. at first i did not understand.. but then he used this story extracted from The Little Prince.


"You are not at all like my rose," he said. "As yet you are nothing. No one has tamed you, and you have tamed no one. You are like my fox when I first knew him. He was only a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But I have made him my friend, and now he is unique in all the world."

for those who still do not understand, i shall give another illustration.
there are so many guys in this world, girls, why do u choose e one u chose in your heart?
& guys, there are so many girls in this world, why do u choose e one u chose in your heart?
that is true love.
imagine..if u were the only girl left in this whole world, & a guy came up to u & said he loves u... u would probably start wondering, if there was another girl around, will he still choose u?

such an interesting point.. i never would have pondered upon it myself in the past. =)
